Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how wakar.io (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use the wakar.io website and platform (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account data. Name, email address, phone number, account type and company name that you provide at registration, plus an optional avatar.
  • Content you provide. Project settings, page templates, website addresses you ask us to analyze, task details and documents you upload for a generation.
  • Transaction data. Balance top-ups, charges and refunds: amounts, dates and payment method type. We do not collect or store card numbers; card payments are handled entirely by our payment providers.
  • Usage and technical data. Log records such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions in the Service, used for security and to keep the Service reliable.

3. How We Use Information

  • to provide the Service: analyze the pages you submit, generate content and deliver results;
  • to maintain your account, balance and transaction history;
  • to secure the Service: authentication, fraud and abuse prevention, rate limiting;
  • to notify you about generations, balance changes and important account events;
  • to answer support requests;
  • to improve the Service based on aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your content to advertise to third parties.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed by payment providers acting as independent controllers of your payment data; your card details go directly to them and never touch our servers. Cryptocurrency top-ups are processed by a crypto payment provider; we receive only a confirmation of the payment, its amount and the transaction identifier.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, content processing and payment providers, and only to the extent needed for their function. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

6. Cookies

The Service uses strictly necessary cookies: they keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; the Service will ask you to sign in again.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data is kept while your account is active.
  • Generated content and its inputs are kept so you can return to your results at any time.
  • Transaction records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
  • When your account is deleted, personal data is removed or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.

8. Security

We protect data with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, session validation on every request, access controls, rate limiting and daily backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we treat security as the top engineering priority of the platform.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Most data can be viewed and edited directly in your account settings. For anything else, including full account deletion, write to [email protected] from the email of your account; we respond within 2 business days.

10. International Transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards for personal data.

11. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version with its effective date is always available on this page; material changes will be announced inside the Service or by email.

13. Contact
